This workshop is designed for registered nurses working within the specialist sphere of stoma care, not just those in formal leadership roles. It highlights that we are all leaders in our own right - whether leading ourselves, supporting our teams, or influencing the wider system.

Learning objectives:

Identify and reflect on your personal leadership style, recognising your strengths and areas for growth within your practice

Examine team dynamics and the concept of pseudo teams, exploring how leadership can influence collaboration and outcomes within stoma care services.

Apply leadership theories to practical scenarios, considering how effective leadership can support both individual development and service improvement. 

Develop strategies for influencing and driving change, recognising the role of leadership in shaping the future of stoma care
