Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1.          By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these free prize draw terms and conditions.

Eligibility to enter.

2.          The prize draw is open to UK resident entrants over 18 years of age (Salts Healthcare staff members are excluded from the draw).

3.          In entering this prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.

4.          A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

5.          The prize draw is free to enter.

How to enter

6.          All entrants must be made by midnight Saturday 18th October 2025. Entries after this time and date will not be included in the draw.

7.          To enter the free prize draw, please complete the following steps:

 

For Instagram:

 

1.          Like Salts Healthcare’s Instagram post about the free prize draw;

2.          Share a video about one part of your everyday living with a stoma, either to your stories or your grid,

3.          Tag Salt’s Healthcare in the video; and

4.          Comment ‘Done!’ on Salt’s Healthcare’s Instagram post once you have done this.

 

8.          Salts Healthcare will not accept responsibility for entries which are incomplete or not received for whatever reason.

The prize

9.          The prize consists of a photoshoot and feature in the next edition of The Salts Way magazine. We will organise and fund travel and accommodation for the winner

10.        The winner will be drawn at random through a computer process that produces verifiably random results.

11.        The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

12.        We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

13.        The decision of Salts Healthcare regarding any aspect of the free prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner announcement

14.        The winner will be notified by midday on Friday 24th October 2025 by a Direct Message on the Instagram account used to enter the free prize draw.

15.        The winner must provide a postal address to claim their prize.

16.        Salts Healthcare will attempt to contact the winner up to two times.

17.        If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to the message notifying them of their win within 3 days of the second message, they will lose their right to the prize, and Salts Healthcare reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.

 

Data protection and publicity

18.        You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Salts Healthcare for the purposes of administering the prize draw, for those purposes defined within our privacy notice and in accordance with the below.

19.        By claiming the prize in the event of winning, the winner consents to the collection, use, and publication of their personal information, including their name, story about living with a stoma, and any photographs or images taken of them during the associated photoshoot. This information and imagery may be published in The Salts Way magazine or in related promotional materials. The winner acknowledges that this consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn in writing but understands that withdrawing consent may affect their eligibility for publicity features.

20.        An announcement of the winner’s first name and Instagram handle will be made via Salts Healthcare’s Instagram account.

21.        All personal information shall be used in accordance with Salts Healthcare’s privacy policy.

Limitation of Liability

22.        Salts Healthcare does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Salts Healthcare does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.

23.        Salts Healthcare is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

24.        Salts Healthcare does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to the product are that of the prize winner.

General

25.        Salts Healthcare reserves the right to cancel the prize draw or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice if circumstances out of our control arise.

26.        This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram or any other social network.

27.        The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
