This is a weekend designed for young people aged between 6-18 with bowel or bladder diversions and also their families. The weekend will take place at an activity centre at Bryn Gwynant in Snowdonia.

This is an opportunity for the young people and their families to meet others in similar situations, to be able to talk about their experiences and to share thoughts with one another. They will also be able to take part in confidence building action adventure activities.

The weekend has been devised and organised by people who have full extensive knowledge of living with a bowel or bladder dysfunction.

Details about the weekend:

  • Activities may include archery, canoeing, climbing, mountain biking etc.
  • Comfortable accommodation with many rooms having en-suites.
  • Support and advice from Stoma nurses during the weekend.
  • Special dietary requirements are catered for.
  • This weekend will costs £130 per person, which includes all activities, accommodation, meals and an exclusive Breakaway weekend T-shirt.
  • Funding is available for this weekend.

Real adventure activities – AALA license; qualified and experienced instructors.
