Leakage and trauma caused by the constant changing of an appliance, or an allergy to the appliance, can all lead to sore skin.

Peri-Prep is a peristomal wipe for unbroken skin, which is specifically designed to leave a protective layer on the skin immediately around the stoma. A special coating is formed which bonds to the skin that can be built up into layers to provide a stronger barrier.

Peri-Prep prevents perspiration from penetrating the adhesive on the appliance for extra security. It also protects the skin against leakage and resists digestive enzymes that can be harmful.
